Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum is proud to announce the Kentucky Blues Music Festival on June 17th at the Amphitheater behind the museum. This year’s event will feature 2022 Inductee, Tee Dee Young with his son, Treyvon King Band, opening the show. The concert is free to attend and things kick off at 6:00 PM.

Tee Dee Young is one of those rare individuals who appropriately wears the moniker of a true, distinguished ‘legend in his own time.’ His unique style, dynamic stage presence, and contemporary mixture of gospel and traditional Blues promise to influence jazz, rhythm & blues, rock, and country music for generations to come. He is most notable for owning his club, Tee Dee’s Lounge, in Lexington, KY.
Opening for Tee Dee is his son, Treyvon King, who will bring a new blend of soul, blues, and rock on stage. His guitar playing leaves you mesmerized while dancing to the groove.
Join us on Saturday, June 17th at 6:00 PM for our Kentucky Blues Music Festival. Tickets are not required. Music fans are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, as well as bug spray and sunscreen. The Kentucky Blues Music Festival is presented by the Hall of Fame and the City of Mount Vernon. Additional sponsors include Jackson Energy and Lone Star Farm & Home.
Donations to the KY Music Hall of Fame are greatly appreciative. Contributions help provide music educational programming and events at no charge to participants.
