
The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame is proud to announce its upcoming 2026 Induction Ceremony to be held at the Campbell House Inn in Lexington, KY on Saturday, October 24, 2026. This year’s inductee class contains a very deserving group of individuals from Kentucky who have left an eternal impact on the music industry in their respective fields.
The 2026 Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Inductee Class includes songwriter Arthur B. Hancock, III; founder of Kickin It on the Creek Festival and music supporter Byron Roberts, singer-songwriter Charlie Gearheart of Goose Creek Symphony; bass player and background vocalist Chris Kael of Five Finger Death Punch; songwriter Darrell Scott; Americana country duo Sundy Best; and the first female guitarist on recordings Velma Williams Smith.
The event will be the official kickoff of the Museum’s 25th Anniversary, which opened in 2002. It features historical music memorabilia, interactive exhibits, and performance space to tell the story of Kentucky’s music journey from the past to now.
The 2026 Induction Ceremony and Dinner will feature guest performances and special guests to honor this year’s class.
